Innovation Lab

The research behind the two co-workers

Our two co-workers are just the beginning. The Innovation Lab is where research becomes the next thing a partner's sales team can actually use on a call.

Our vision

We want selling cybersecurity to feel like selling connectivity: the rep opens the conversation, the risk is already on the table and the proposal comes from the partner's own catalogue. Everything we research serves that one outcome.

Research-driven

Academic and industrial research turned into technology a partner can put in front of a customer.

IP development

Proprietary models and frameworks that stay ours, and that keep the platform ahead of generic scanners.

Future-focused

We build for the risks and the rules that will land on business customers next, from the small firm to the large enterprise, not only the ones already here.

Where the research goes

Three areas that shape what the co-workers will do next

THE CO-WORKERS (AI AND DATA)

AI co-workers for lead generation and sales

The lead generation and sales co-workers read the signals, prepare the four-phase brief and handle the hard questions, in the platform and in email, Teams, CRM and MCP, so the answer reaches the rep wherever the deal is happening. The research now goes into what they will read and answer next.

Key technologies

Artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, risk scoring, sales automation

THE OPEN ECOSYSTEM

The connected ecosystem

We are working on mapping every risk we find to the partner's own service catalogue with less setup and more precision, so what comes out is a proposal that is priced, branded and ready to send. The services stay the partner's: we only make the match.

Key technologies

Service catalogue mapping, connectors, workflow automation

OUR OWN GOVERNANCE MODELS (GRC)

Scalable risk frameworks

Beyond the standard frameworks (ISO, NIST, NIS2), we build our own assessment models for supply-chain and emerging risks. It makes each assessment more defensible and lets partners shape frameworks of their own.

Key technologies

GRC, supply-chain risk, proprietary frameworks, compliance support

From research to reality: our lighthouse projects

The platform is not static: it evolves through R&D projects co-funded by the European Union and by public-private innovation ecosystems: the Liguria FESR 2021-2027 Programme, the National Just Transition Fund Programme (Taranto Territorial Plan) and the Calabria FESR FSE+ 2021-2027 Programme. That research lands directly in the platform our partners use.

NIS2 AND ADVANCED COMPLIANCE

Project ROSSANA

Role: lead partner

Automated solutions for the EU NIS2 Directive, working through "AS IS" and "TO BE" cybersecurity scenarios. The results feed the compliance and certification modules of the platform.

AI AND PROCESS AUTOMATION

Project BRAINS

Role: ecosystem partner (with DGS S.p.A.)

Co-development of advanced NoCode/LowCode solutions for business-process automation, cutting the manual work behind every assessment and every proposal.

OT/IoT SECURITY ASSESSMENT

Project CYBERSCAN OT/IoT

Role: beneficiary, Grottaglie (TA)

A discovery and risk-assessment engine for connected industrial assets: PLCs, HMIs, sensors, gateways and control systems. As production processes go digital the attack surface grows, so asset discovery, scanning and structured cyber-risk scoring go straight into the Cyberangels platform.
